We are not a generalist contract house. Our work centres on Unitronics all-in-one PLC and HMI platforms, with complementary integration of Pixsys controllers, POSITAL encoders and Temposonics linear sensors when the application calls for it. That focus means fewer surprises, faster commissioning and ongoing support from the same people who wrote the code.

What We Cover

New machine programming

Full PLC and HMI development from electrical schematic through to factory acceptance. Ladder, function block and structured text on Unitronics Vision and UniStream platforms. Recipe management, multi-language operator screens, alarm handling and data logging built in from day one.

Retrofits and legacy migration

Replacing obsolete control systems on production equipment. Common migrations include older Allen-Bradley MicroLogix, Siemens LOGO, Mitsubishi FX, and discontinued Unitronics M91 platforms onto current Vision or UniStream hardware. We rewrite the logic properly rather than transliterating it, which removes years of patches and undocumented edits.

HMI and SCADA screens

Operator interface design for production lines, process equipment and standalone machines. Built around the people who actually use the machine: clear status, minimal nesting, fast access to recipes and diagnostics. Remote access via Unitronics web server and VNC.

Integration with sensors and field devices

We are the official Irish distributor for POSITAL encoders and Temposonics linear sensors, so closed-loop positioning, axis control and process measurement integrate cleanly. CANopen, EtherCAT, Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP all in scope.

Commissioning and on-site support

Factory acceptance testing, on-site installation, line commissioning and operator training. Post-handover support is provided by the same engineer who wrote the application, not a separate helpdesk.

How We Engage

Most projects start with a half-day scoping call, either at your site or remote. We confirm the I/O count, control philosophy, operator requirements and any sensor or communications constraints, then quote a fixed price for the deliverable plus a daily rate for site time. Smaller jobs run on time and materials.
