Finding the Sensor Label

Every Temposonics sensor has a product label containing the part number, serial number, and key specification data. The label location varies by product family:

• R-Series V & R-Series, The label is on the sensor head, near the cable exit or connector end. On rod-style sensors, it's typically on the cylindrical housing.
• G-Series V & G-Series, The label is on the profile housing, usually visible from the top or side of the extrusion.
• E-Series, The label is on the compact housing near the electrical connection.
• T-Series, On mobile hydraulic sensors, the label may be on the sensor head or on a separate tag attached to the cable.

What Happens After Submission

1. Automatic Analysis, Our system reads the part number from your image and cross-references it against our Temposonics database.
2. Engineer Review, A Temposonics-trained engineer at Emolice verifies the identification.
3. Response, You receive an email with the full sensor specification, current availability, and a quotation if required.

When You Can't Find the Label

If the label is completely destroyed or missing, you can still help us identify the sensor by providing:

• The machine make and model where the sensor is installed.
• The approximate stroke length (measure the active rod length).
• The electrical interface type (SSI, analog 4–20 mA, CANbus, etc.).
• The connector type (M12 8-pin, M16 7-pin, cable outlet, etc.).
• Any partial numbers or markings visible on the housing.

With this information, our engineers can usually narrow the identification to a small number of possible part numbers and recommend the correct replacement.
