Temposonics E-Series linear position sensors are compact models for industrial applications where space is a limiting factor. Models include rod variants for cylinder integration (EH, EE), profile variants for external mounting (EP, EL, EP2), a rod-and-cylinder variant (ER), and a high-temperature and hazardous area variant (ET). The E-Series IO-Link supports measurement of up to eight positions simultaneously on a single sensor.

Overview
The Temposonics E-Series is a compact, cost-effective magnetostrictive linear position sensor designed for applications where installation space is limited. Despite its smaller size, the E-Series delivers the same proven magnetostrictive measurement principle as the larger Temposonics series, providing absolute, non-contact position measurement with high accuracy. Available in multiple configurations including rod (EH), profile (EP), ultra-low profile (EL), flat profile (EP2), piston-mounted (ER), embedded (EE), and hazardous area (ET) versions, with stroke lengths from 25 mm to 2,500 mm. The E-Series is notable for supporting IO-Link, making it an excellent choice for modern sensor integration.

Selection Guidance
Choose the E-Series when compact dimensions are a priority, when IO-Link integration is required, or when stroke lengths up to 2,500 mm are sufficient. For longer stroke lengths or industrial Ethernet interfaces, consider the R-Series V or G-Series V.
