The Temposonics R-Series V is the current generation of magnetostrictive linear position sensors for industrial applications, succeeding the R-Series. Available as rod (RH5), profile (RP5), flexible rod (RF5/RFV), detached electronics (RD5/RDV) and super shield (RM5) variants, with outputs including Analog, EtherCAT, SSI, PROFINET, POWERLINK and EtherNet/IP.

Overview
The Temposonics R-Series V is the flagship industrial linear position sensor from Temposonics, representing the fifth generation of this proven product line. It combines magnetostrictive technology with smart diagnostics and Industry 4.0 connectivity, making it the ideal choice for demanding industrial applications where precision, reliability, and future-proof connectivity are essential. The R-Series V is available in rod (RH5), profile (RP5), flexible rod (RF5/RFV), detached electronics (RD5/RDV), and super shield (RM5) configurations, with stroke lengths from 25 mm to 7,600 mm. Multiple industrial communication interfaces are supported, including analog, SSI, EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and POWERLINK.
