DIN-Rail PID Controller and Signal Converter
The Pixsys DRR244 is a DIN-rail mounted PID controller in the Blue Line range. The analogue input is programmable for resistance thermometers and thermocouples, or for mA and Volt process signals. Outputs are selectable as command, alarm, or analogue retransmission. The analogue output is galvanically isolated from the input, so the DRR244 also functions as a signal converter. RS485 with Modbus RTU slave protocol. Extended-range power supply 24 to 230V AC/DC with galvanic isolation.

Pixsys DRR244 in Ireland
The DRR244 does two jobs from one DIN-rail position. As a PID controller it covers heating and cooling with separate PID settings, motorised valve control and remote setpoint over Modbus or a 4-20mA input. Because the analogue output is galvanically isolated from the input, the same device also works as a signal converter, retransmitting process value or setpoint. RS485 with Modbus RTU brings it onto an industrial network, and it pairs with the Pixsys CNV580 IIoT modem for remote monitoring.
The DRR244 is specified where DIN-rail PID control requires analogue output, network communication or remote setpoint, and where a single device covering both control and signal conversion reduces panel component count. Typical applications include process skids, heating and cooling plant, and control panels on a Modbus network.
