Compact PLC with Integrated I/O
The Pixsys PL280 is a compact PLC with I/O integrated alongside the CPU, based on an ARM Cortex H7 480MHz processor. It is programmed with LogicLab to IEC 61131-3 and provides RS485 serial with Modbus RTU, Ethernet with Modbus TCP, and CANopen. Remote I/O expansion is available, and PID autotuning is built in for temperature and process control.

Pixsys PL280 in Ireland
The PL280 puts CPU and I/O in one compact unit, which suits applications where the I/O count is known and modular expansion is unnecessary. Programming is in LogicLab to IEC 61131-3, the same environment used across the Pixsys PLC range apart from the CODESYS models. Built-in PID autotuning means temperature and process loops are handled by the PLC without a separate controller.
The PL280 is specified for compact machine and process control where the onboard I/O covers the requirement and PID loops form part of the control task.
