Temposonics G-Series V vs G-Series: Comparison & Upgrade Guide
Where outputs are the same, the G-Series V is a form, fit and function, fully backward compatible direct replacement for the legacy G-Series. The G-Series is no longer available for new orders. Faulty sensors should be replaced with the equivalent G-Series V, and all new projects must specify the G-Series V.

- Replacing a faulty G-Series sensor: the G-Series V is a form, fit and function direct replacement where outputs match
- Standardising spare stock: consolidate to the G-Series V to simplify inventory
- Applications with increased vibration requirements
- Where on-site programmability via TempoLink® would simplify commissioning and maintenance
Note: Redundant Versions
The legacy G-Series includes redundant versions (GT2, GT3, GTE) for safety-critical applications. The G-Series V does not directly offer these configurations. For redundant sensor requirements, please contact Emolice to discuss the appropriate solution from the current product range.
